Bruce Gendle passed away on Saturday 5 May 2018, en route to hospital after an accident on his way to the Lake Paika Station get-together. He was riding with the Hunter Valley group.
Bruce loved his riding, a beer and a chat. He registered for the Lake Paika Station event on the first day registration was open, commenting that he was very excited about it and glad that the beer was all sorted.
Our thoughts are with his sons and his new wife, Cate.
We also acknowledge how difficult the experience would have been for his riding companions on the day.
Bruce’s funeral service will take place at the Newcastle Memorial Park, 176 Anderson Drive, Beresfield NSW 2322 at 1 pm on Wednesday 16 May.
A celebration of his life will follow at the Lemon Tree Passage Bowling Club, Gould Drive, Lemon Tree Passage.
