Annual General Meeting

In our previous guise we didn’t have general meetings, and that’s a good thing.

The problem is, important changes can happen that take people by surprise, and that can be a bad thing.

So, once a year, we want to take just a few minutes to make sure everyone has the opportunity to hear where we’re heading with the important things.

And in particular, we want to make sure that everyone is happy that we have the right Management Committee in place.

We will have an Annual General Meeting at our Christmas Party, around 6pm, before dinner. It will take just a few minutes, to quickly discuss next year’s rides and big events, finances, the website / Facebook and the Management Committee.

All of the current Management Committee are prepared to continue to serve, but if you want to be of service that’s great, so please let me know by 10 November. You can contact me via chairperson.nar@gmail.com or 0417 446 116 evenings.

As for myself, I would be quite happy to step back completely or partially, if someone wants to step forward and that’s what people want.

The meeting won’t be a free-for-all, so if you want to say something or make sure something is covered, let me know in advance.

Wayne, Lyndon, Paul and I do hope to see you at the Christmas Party and I promise you the AGM will be very brief, maybe even interesting.

Chairman

  1. I am unable to attend. I will be in Western Australia. I would like to say I am very happy with the way the Club is run. I dealt mainly with the 2 Waynes and they have been very helpful. To cover the cost for club running expenses there should be a fee attached to membership renewal or new membership. Anyway Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Happy and safe riding.
