It drizzled overnight and on Saturday morning as we made our way to Mittagong. A couple of riders texted to pull out, leaving Wayne McNaughton, Paul Grech, Tony Conliffe and Wayne Croker to make a start.
The drizzle cleared around 11 am, by which time we had made our way west looking for dryer weather. We went here and there towards Taralga for lunch and up towards Duckmaloi where we headed home. There was rain in the Blue Mountains – what a surprise.
No issues except Paul’s tool bag came off his rack into his rear wheel and wrecked it (the bag), and not long later he got a rear puncture. We waited for the third thing but it didn’t happen.
It was nice to just wander around with no destination in mind.
